New girl passed my room today.
On her eyes there was blood drying.
Doubtful that she'll get away.
I hear her crying,
Hear her crying.

Mother who came in so round,
Full of pain, and yet was beaming.
Dropped like glass onto the ground.
She still is screaming,
Still is screaming.

Nurse who's too oblivious
Caught T.B. while she was filing
Doesn't know she's one of us.
And still is smiling,
Still is smiling.

Teen girl next door lost her hair
I can hear her all day, sighing.
Boyfriend tells her she's still fair,
But he is lying.
He is lying.

Boy upstairs should be alright,
But his mother's not believing.
Doesn't think they're marks from fights.
He dreams of leaving.
Dreams of leaving.

Old boy's gone, it seems to be
His mind was ever shambling
Now he's lost his sanity,
He still was rambling.
Still was rambling.

Sickly girl is up again,
Crying about blood she's spotting.
She's been here since she was 10
And still is rotting.
Still is rotting.

Roommate closed his eyes last night,
Claimed the world was just too boring.
He was gone by morning's light
With angels soaring.
Angels soaring.

Bed's bare where he used to be.
My memories are eroding.
Dead, the last rose he gave me.
It's quite foreboding.
Quite foreboding.

Life is but a struggle here.
Battles betwixt will and crying.
But at least my friends are near.
While I am dying.
I am dying.
Mmm midnight poetry.
My first strictly structured poetry in a while. I'm rather in love with it.

woah. It really is amazing what people can come up with about midnight... so sad, also very... interesting... and beautiful.
